the longest day..

Man, I had a great day. just a long day FILLED to the brim with activity. FCA huddle at Richardson HS - 8am. Speaker was a friend of FCA Molley Wren (she leads missions trips for young adults teenagers every summer). She was outstanding! Went home, ran a 2 1/2 miler, put a turkey on the smoker then off to an appointment with Head Soccer coach at UTD @ 11am. Left there went by the office, down to HP high school, saw my huddle coach there chatted a few minutes then back to the office to try and figure out necessary paperwork. YIKES! On to Berkner HS for their 430pm huddle meeting. Speaker was Chris Ayoub (Air Force Academy Graduate and Marathon runner) he was reallly solid. I am beginning to think that my coaches and athletes are better off hearing from passionate speakers then from me. Something for me to think about, no doubt.
Got home had supper scooped up the boys then on to Liberty JH for parent night. We had a table to showcase FCA for all 6th grade parents to find out more about our ministry and how it could be a real benefit to their boy or girl student athlete. Got home put the boys in bed, prayed over them and have been scorching the keyboard eversince trying to catch up from today. Pant,pant, breathe heavy. OK enough for now.
